CHAFES SOLICITORS APPOINT NEW EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST

Local legal practice Chafes has appointed employment specialist Alison Close to its expanding team. Alison has joined the practice to head employment law team, advising both businesses and private clients on matters including advising upon the termination of employment including compromise agreements and redundancies, employment claims and employment contracts.
Alison has ten years experience advising upon employment law matters. She spent five years within the human resources department at the international law firm, DLA Piper where she acted for many employers, including well known household names. In 2005 Alison was invited to join an all ex DLA firm based in the West Midlands specialising in employment law where she has remained until the present.
Commenting on her appointment Alison said: “I am really looking forward to bringing my experience to Chafes and working to advise its wide range of clients, both businesses and private individuals.
Alison will be based at the practice’s Wilmslow office.
