STOCKPORT WOMEN’S BUSINESS NETWORK LAUNCHES
Chafes Press Release PR116A : 9th January 2007
Local business women are joining forces to create a new monthly network in Stockport this month. Over 20 business women representing companies ranging from accountancy practices, local media, property services, law firms and hospitality providers will be meeting at the Cheshire Conference Centre on the 18th January to kick off a programme of monthly business network meetings. The network has been organised by local solicitors firm Chafes and Stockport- based accountancy practice and business advisors Booth Ainsworth.
As an opportunity for business women in and around the Stockport area to make new contacts and gain new ideas, the network has been organised to help local businesses promote its services and gain support for its commercial growth.
Speaking about the new network Lindsay Firth, solicitor at Chafes says: “More and more businesses are realising the importance of getting out into the community and meeting like-minded companies within the area. This network will enable business women to tell other local companies about the services that they provide, whilst also getting the opportunity to receive practical and helpful information.
Booth Ainsworth’s corporate manager Heather Lowndes adds: “This network builds upon the one that the firm created four years ago and we look forward to continuing to establish a strong female base of professional representatives to refer and reciprocate work in the local area.”
The first meeting will take place at The Cheshire Conference Centre from 12.30 to 14.30 on Thursday 18th January 2007.
