LOCAL SOLICITOR RETIRES AFTER 41 YEARS SERVICE IN STOCKPORT

Solicitor, John Seal has retired from local legal practice Chafes after 41 years service with the firm. The popular crime and licensing practitioner has opened legal cases with the firm since joining as an article clerk in 1966.
John qualified as a solicitor in 1969 and became a partner with the firm in 1971 eventually becoming senior partner.
Chafes partner and head of the Stockport office, Peter Littlewood said: “John has played a huge role within the legal community in Stockport over the past 41 years. I am sure that he will be greatly missed, not only by the staff here at Chafes but also by all those who have had the pleasure of working with him in the Courts.”
John added: “41 years is long enough for me… now I can start to enjoy myself!”
