SOLICITORS SPONSOR MARIE CURIE CANCER CARE DAFFODIL LUNCH

Guests at the ladies lunch at the Hunting Lodge, Adlington Hall, near Macclesfield were treated to an appetising lunch followed by a fascinating talk by the Guest Speaker, Ron Hutchinson, about his life as chauffeur to the late Lord Leverhulme. Guests could also purchase beautiful gifts at the many stalls.
The lunch was, for the first time, very generously sponsored by Chafes Solicitors who also attended the lunch with their guests.
Jane Wilkinson, Community Fundraising Manager said, “I would like to thank Chafes Solicitors for their generous sponsorship which enabled us to raise £2,630 to support our local Marie Curie nursing service. This will enable our nurses to give over 130 hours of practical nursing care to terminally ill patients in their own homes, free of charge.”
Marie Curie Cancer Care hold regular ladies lunches both at the Hunting Lodge and other venues in Cheshire.
