Corporate Social Responsibility

At Chafes we are aware of the economic, social and environmental impact of our business activities and that is why we commit to supporting various initiatives throughout the year.

Our charities for 2007/08 were Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.  We undertook a full programme of activities and raised over £2000 for the charities.

Our chosen charity for 2008/09 is The MS Society.

We also participate in national Wills Week whereby we make wills for clients in exchange for a donation to our chosen charity. In 2006 we raised £1383 for St Ann’s Hospice as part of their annual Wills Week programme.

We recognise that as a business we have a responsibility to our environment and we are committed to engaging in sustainable practices and that is why we undertake a number of initiatives at each of our offices including mobile phone, confidential waste and printer cartridge recycling.
