At Chafes we are aware of the economic, social and environmental impact of our business activities and that is why we commit to supporting various initiatives throughout the year.
We recognise that as a business we have a responsibility to our environment and we are committed to engaging in sustainable practices and that is why we undertake a number of initiatives at each of our offices including mobile phone, confidential waste and printer cartridge recycling.
Each year the partners and staff of Chafes select a charity to support. During 2008/9 our chosen charity was The Multiple Sclerosis Society. Through a series of various activities, we raised over £1800 for the charity. For 2009/10, we chose to support The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) . Our charity for 2010/11 is The East Cheshire Hospice.
In April 2010 we again sponsored the Marie Curie Daffodil Lunch at Adlington Hall, which has raised over £10,000 in the last three years. This is the equivalent of more than 500 Marie Curie Nursing Hours.
